Playmate Heather Spytek knows what she wants – and she knows how to get it, too. With her curly brown hair, brown eyes and warm, caramel-colored tan, Heather was born in small-town New Jersey, where she had an eye on the entertainment industry from an early age. “My father was the lead guitarist and singer for a band,” she says. “He’s really supportive of everything I do.” Following in her father’s footsteps, Heather studied ballet, tap and jazz, and with a move to Florida, she began a fledgling modeling career. “I did my first beauty pageant at the age of 11,” she says. “It really helped me feel comfortable in front of the camera!” Unsatisfied, Heather decided to take matters of fame and fortune into her own hands – In 2000, she crashed the Golden Globes, hoping to run into one Mr. Hugh Hefner. “Security thought I was a movie star,” laughs Heather – but when she approached Hef on the red carpet, she was turned away by one of Hef’s loyal girlfriends. By the next year’s Golden Globes, Heather was on the guest list as Playboy’s Miss June 2001, with her own golden globes on fearless display. These days, Heather makes her home in Hollywood, Florida, where she spends her weekends swimming and jet-skiing with her husband, Marcello. Lucky guy – not every man gets to have a Playboy Centerfold as his wife. “Playboy swept me off my feet,” says Heather. “I want to be happy with whatever I do in my life!” As a Playmate, we think Miss Spytek is off to a great start.
